Apaman Network Launches the 7th Dance Edition Featuring Fukushima's Kawaii Bear Character!

Apaman Network's Latest Initiative: The 7th Dance Project Featuring Fukushima!

On June 18, 2025, Apaman Network Inc., a leading rental housing intermediary in Japan, will debut its latest dance project featuring its beloved character, bear-kun, themed around the unique culture of Fukushima. This new dance installment is part of a broader initiative that showcases the allure of all 47 prefectures in Japan through engaging and entertaining digital content.

Background and Purpose

The initiative was conceived with the goal of enhancing local engagement and promoting the distinct attractions each prefecture has to offer. Bear-kun will perform dances set against iconic backdrops and local specialties of Fukushima, embodying the region's spirit and vibrancy. In doing so, this campaign contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting community development and economic vitality through social media outreach.

Dance highlights include energetic moves like right-hand chops and left-hand chops, all mimicking the playful tempo and motions associated with this beloved cultural symbol. Bear-kun cleverly integrates the characteristic bobbing of the akabeko, creating a fun and memorable performance that invites viewers to join along!

Highlighting the Lifestyle and Attractions of Fukushima

Fukushima boasts breathtaking natural scenery, rich history, and deep-rooted traditions. From the stunning views of Oze National Park to the serene Inawashiro Lake, the region’s natural beauty is overwhelming. Visitors can also enjoy flower viewing at notable sites such as Miharu Takizakura and Hanamiyama, as well as experiencing the historical ambiance at Tsuruga Castle and Ouchi-juku. Exciting cultural events such as the Soma Nomaoi and Aizuwakamatsu's traditional Gion festival further showcase the region's heritage. Food lovers will appreciate the chance to savor Kitakata ramen, recognized as one of Japan's top ramen varieties.

Geographical Insights

Fukushima can be categorized into three main regions:
  • - Iwaki City in the south, the most populous area with diverse rental options ranging from apartments to designer homes, easily accessible via rail networks.
  • - The Midarea, served by the Tōhoku Line and Shinkansen, offers a range of housing—from affordable to luxury classes—making it a hotspot for real estate. Koriyama, known for its excellent transportation links, is a prominent center with ample housing choices.
  • - Aizu, a mountainous region, is primarily a tourist destination with a higher concentration of traditional houses rather than apartment complexes.

Fukushima holds a vibrant real estate market, with 12 local Apaman Shop outlets ready to assist residents in finding their ideal homes. As part of their commitment to community engagement, Apaman Network continues to leverage social media and video content to amplify the region's appeal.
