L'Oréal Paris Calls for Women Changemakers: Join Women of Worth 2026

Celebrating Changemakers: L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth 2026

L'Oréal Paris USA, a leader in the global beauty market, is reaching out to individuals and communities across the nation to nominate extraordinary women who are instigating meaningful change within their communities for the prestigious Women of Worth 2026 program. This initiative, now open for nominations until March 8, marks a pivotal opportunity for recognizing and elevating the voices of these changemakers, coinciding with International Women's Day.

A Commitment to Empowering Women

The Women of Worth program has become synonymous with empowerment, offering each honored recipient a substantial $25,000 grant, tailored mentorship, and a crucial platform to amplify their mission and extend their reach. Laura Branik, President of L'Oréal Paris USA, stated, “At L'Oréal Paris, the celebration of women's worth is not merely a campaign but is intricately woven into our brand's essence. Women of Worth goes beyond recognition; it brings visibility and vital resources that enable these leaders to expand their impact.”

Recognizing women’s contributions is key, as their successes often ripple outward, nurturing community progress and hope. As Branik emphasized, “When women receive the support they deserve, entire communities benefit.”

Nomination Process and Celebration of Work

Nominations are being accepted through WomenofWorth.com until March 8. Ten exceptional women will be chosen this year, highlighting their efforts in tackling pressing social issues—whether fighting food insecurity, improving mental health access, or providing second chances for at-risk youth, these changemakers are not just making headlines; they're creating lasting movements.

In partnership with Points of Light, the esteemed organization dedicated to volunteerism, L'Oréal will shine a light on those whose impactful work addresses the complex challenges of today. Their efforts will not only be recognized but celebrated as a testament to their resilience and dedication.

Inspiring Examples of Changemakers

Celebrities and advocates, like acclaimed actress Helen Mirren, have publicly endorsed the Women of Worth initiative. Mirren remarked on how the Women of Worth program not only honors incredibly impactful women but also motivates all of us to think ambitiously and act courageously.

The initiative creates an engaged network of over 200 alumnae, fostering a community of support among past honorees long after the award ceremony. Additionally, one alumna will be awarded the Karen T. Fondu Impact Award, a $10,000 grant celebrating sustained excellence and significant influence—honoring the legacy of former honorees.

This year, the award recognized Maimah Karmo, founder of the Tigerlily Foundation and a breast cancer survivor. Since becoming a Women of Worth honoree in 2009, Karmo has expanded her foundation's reach significantly, advocating for BIPOC and young women in the healthcare landscape, and affecting over 5 million lives through education and policy advocacy in women’s health.

Join the Movement

For over two decades, L'Oréal Paris has championed women through the Women of Worth initiative, integrating the brand's empowering tagline, “Because You're Worth It.” Each year, this program honors female leaders from grassroots non-profits who are transforming their communities and beyond. By providing funding, mentorship, and a spotlight, L'Oréal Paris aims to nurture their stories and encourage further action.
