24 degrees North latitude. This site has been recognized by the Ministry of the Environment for its minimal light pollution, promising visitors an unparalleled stargazing experience.

Observatory Dome: The observatory features large telescopes for observing various celestial bodies visible from Kaimajima. The wonders captured through the telescopes will be projected inside the
7.5-meter-diameter LED dome, offering an immersive experience as if you’ve stepped into outer space.

Visitors are encouraged to memorize the star positions and test their skills in identifying them at night.

Stargazing Tour: As night falls, the observatory dome opens to allow guests to observe real celestial bodies through the telescopes. This tour includes a comprehensive explanation of the visible stars and constellations, followed by an opportunity to connect the dots in the actual night sky outside.
