On September 22, 2026, DIRECTV will debut a new 24/7 FAST channel specifically for "Military Makeover with Montel®," a popular series from BrandStar that has captivated audiences for years. Featuring a total of 44 seasons and over 200 episodes, this channel will become a go-to destination for DIRECTV customers who appreciate inspiring stories of military families and their transformative journeys.

Under the leadership of Montel Williams, a Navy veteran and prominent military advocate, "Military Makeover" focuses on uplifting military members and their families through significant home renovations. Each episode is a 30-minute showcase that brings together designers, decorators, and various experts to create customized living spaces that reflect the sacrifices and contributions of our service members. The series not only aims to enhance homes but also sheds light on the challenges faced by veterans reintegrating into civilian life.

Highlighting the Weatherholt Family

One of the significant features of the inaugural season on this new channel is the support for the Weatherholt family from Jupiter, Florida. Billy Weatherholt, a dedicated Air Force veteran who enlisted at age 17 following the events of September 11, served overseas as a firefighter EMT during two deployments. Today, he continues to serve his local community as a firefighter and paramedic. The show will spotlight the transformation of the Weatherholt home, benefitting not only Billy but also his wife Autum and their daughter Tatum.
