Exciting News for Soccer Fans and Media Representatives

Philadelphia Soccer 2026, a non-profit organization acting as the local host committee for the highly-anticipated FIFA World Cup™, has announced the opening of media accreditation and fan registration for the FIFA Fan Festival™ Philadelphia. This exciting event, set to take place at Lemon Hill in Fairmount Park, promises to create an unparalleled atmosphere for fans and media alike.

What is the FIFA Fan Festival™?

The FIFA Fan Festival™ serves as the official public fan experience during the FIFA World Cup 2026. It offers fans a vibrant venue to enjoy matches live in a celebratory environment filled with football, music, culinary delights, entertainment, and cultural programming. As the only festival located in a U.S. host city, it will operate daily during the tournament, free of charge, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the joy of soccer.

Set to transform over one million square feet of outdoor space, the festival will be a bustling hub where locals and visitors can unite to celebrate the world’s most significant sporting event. Over 39 days, it will showcase a program that encapsulates football, culture, and the unique spirit of Philadelphia.

Media Accreditation Process

The media accreditation is now open to all representatives from various media channels including:
  • - Broadcast, Digital, Print, Radio, and Podcast
  • - Photo and Video professionals, as well as technical teams
  • - News agencies and team media
  • - Freelancers (proof of assignment may be required)

To register, media representatives must visit PhillyFWC26.com/Credentials. All media personnel must pre-register to obtain a credentials pass. Philadelphia Soccer 2026 will inform applicants of their accreditation status shortly afterward.

Importantly, this accreditation process pertains only to on-site media reporting at the FIFA Fan Festival™ Philadelphia and does not guarantee access to the FIFA World Cup 2026 matches at the Philadelphia stadium. Media seeking stadium access must apply directly through FIFA.

Fan Registration Details

In addition to media accreditation, Philadelphia Soccer 2026 has opened digital registration for fans wishing to attend the festival. Although general entry to the FIFA Fan Festival™ is free, every attendee must pre-register and present a valid ticket upon entry. Fans can sign up for the festival now here.

It’s crucial to note that entry will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the venue’s capacity.
