Within just 22 days of its launch, Subnautica 2 accumulated sales of 5 million copies, solidifying KRAFTON's position in the gaming market. Furthermore, the earnings from the PUBG IP franchise witnessed a 25% increase compared to last year, with the PC platform sales exceeding 500 billion won for the first time, directly influenced by the explosive success of Subnautica 2 and the stable growth of the PUBG franchise.

The financial results indicate a healthy diversification in revenue streams:
  • - PC Games: 5.604 trillion won (+155.1% YoY)
  • - Mobile Games: 4.510 trillion won (+5.5% YoY)
  • - Console Games: 233 billion won (+143.3% YoY)
  • - Others: 2.550 trillion won (+5,010.6% YoY)

The Evolution of PUBG IP


KRAFTON is making strides in evolving the PUBG IP franchise into a multifaceted content platform. The company is enhancing user engagement by introducing new gameplay modes in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, such as 'Xeno Point' and 'PAYDAY', which have proven effective in driving sales growth. Mobile platforms like PUBG MOBILE and BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA also continue their upward trajectory. In the latter half of 2026, KRAFTON plans to maintain high-quality game modes while expanding collaborations with multiple international brands, including automotive and K-POP, as well as global animation properties.
