OKINAWA FES Milafete 2026: A Celebration of Sound and Culture
Okinawa is set to become a hub of music and culture as the
OKINAWA FES Milafete returns for its 11th edition.
Milafete Inc., headed by President
Yoshifumi Kasai, is thrilled to announce that the festival will take place on May 16-17, 2026, at
Yoyogi Park Event Square in Tokyo. This year's theme promises to highlight the unique intersection of Okinawa’s rich alcoholic heritage and its vibrant music scene, amplified by an exciting DJ stage.
The DJ Stage Experience
The DJ stage has been a perennial favorite at the festival, drawing in crowds who are eager to experience the electrifying atmosphere it creates. With support from
HABUSH and
Kikuzou, the two-day event will feature top DJs and artists who embody Okinawa's club culture, transforming the venue into a lively intersection of music and Okinawan heritage.
An impressive lineup includes prominent local talents such as
NGONG,
GRI GRI,
SLAM, and representatives from popular groups like
RYUKYUDISKO and
ORANGE RANGE. Attendees can expect a diverse range of musical styles, showcasing not just the best of Okinawa but also resonating with global beats.
GARDEN STAGE supported by HABUSH
This stage will highlight influential DJs and artists who have been pivotal in defining Okinawa’s nightlife. The collaboration with HABUSH enhances not just the quantity but also the quality of the experience, making it an unforgettable part of the festival.
YUNTAKU STAGE supported by Kikuzou
With the theme of “Yuntaku” (meaning “to converse” in Okinawan), this stage aims to provide a welcoming environment where attendees can connect over fine
Kikuzou liquor and enjoy more intimate performances by artists like
OHTAA and
GRI GRI. The essence of Okinawan warmth will permeate this space, highlighting how music can foster community and connectivity.
