Sega's NET Mahjong MJ and Twin Angel 20th Anniversary CUP

Sega has officially launched a collaborative event titled the Kaito Tenshi Twin Angel 20th Anniversary CUP, celebrating the rich history of the beloved Twin Angel series. This tournament began on September 14, 2026, and invites participants from both the mobile and arcade versions of Sega's popular online Mahjong game, NET Mahjong MJ.

Event Overview

The nationwide tournament features two distinct formats: East Wind Battle and Three-Person Match, allowing participants to showcase their skills and compete for the top score. Players who achieve a certain score during the preliminary rounds will advance to the finals, where the player with the highest score will be declared the champion.

In the app version of MJ, players can earn various collaboration items, such as special characters and unique backgrounds inspired by the Twin Angel series, by participating and fulfilling certain criteria throughout the tournament.

Preliminary and Final Round Timings

• - Preliminary Round A: September 14 (Mon) to September 20 (Sun)
• - Preliminary Round B: September 21 (Mon) to September 27 (Sun)
• - Finals: September 28 (Mon) to October 4 (Sun)

Each round is open 24/7, allowing players to compete at their convenience. For instance, on the first day of Preliminary Round A, registration opens at 7:00 AM and closes just before midnight on the last day.
