Embrace the Legacy of Tsukiji Market: Art Contest Announced for All Ages

The Tsukiji area is once again at the forefront, this time inviting everyone to engage in its legacy through an exciting art contest. This initiative aims to inspire community development centered around the iconic Tsukiji Market and showcases the power of creativity in envisioning the future. The contest is not just for professional artists; it is an opportunity for students and others in the community to contribute their ideas and visions for Tsukiji's future.

Event Overview:
The art contest is part of the 'Tsukiji Town Development Symposium', scheduled for March 7, 2024, from 1:00 PM to about 3:00 PM at the Tokyo Metropolitan Hall in Shinjuku. The symposium will feature discussions led by experts from various fields, including food culture and art. The review of the submitted artworks will also take place during this event, along with an awards ceremony for elementary school students.

Call for Art Submissions:
We are inviting ideas for artwork and paintings from elementary school students until February 16, 2024, and artistic concepts from the general public by February 6, 2024.
