Exciting Update for PSO2 New Genesis Version 2

On December 24, 2025, Sega announced significant updates for their popular online RPG, PSO2 New Genesis Version 2 (NGS ver.2), including the launch of the Free Daily AC Scratch feature allowing players to enjoy daily rewards.

Daily 10 Free AC Scratches

From December 24, 2025, after maintenance, until January 7, 2026, players can take advantage of 10 free AC scratches per day. This promotional event showcases past AC Scratch prizes from Phantasy Star Online 2, along with exclusive items, including new accessories like the Emperor Rappy Plush and Emperor Rappy Mask tailored for the NGS universe. Players can draw up to 100 times during this event, ensuring ample opportunities to acquire coveted items.

In addition, the AC Scratch event titled AC Halfa Festival Dec'25 will run concurrently, enhancing the rewards available to eager players.

Exciting New Limited-Time Quest

The update also features a brand new limited-time quest titled Happy Sunrise!, set in the beautifully decorated Halfa Plains. Players can engage with up to eight friends in this quest, which is rich in combat advantages and exciting features. Combat advantages can be leveraged throughout the quest, and players will encounter the challenging Raguo-Grettrappy as they reach deeper areas.

Additionally, exclusive holiday-themed character cards featuring characters like Kuna and Mother will drop during this quest, providing unique visual variations.

By completing various achievement tasks, players can earn titles and special items, including the Super Genesis '25 SP Scratch Ticket.

New Stages Added to Duel Quest

The update introduces new stages to the Extra Duel quest, Starfall Rampage, adding Stage 9 and 10. Players will face formidable enemies such as Chaos Zaver and Hanumat, along with new boss enemies: High Chaos Zaver and High Hanumat. Completing Rank 5 rewards players with build parts mimicking the enemy's attack effects, such as Chaos Zaver's Magic Circle and a stylish accessory being the Hanumat Staff.

New Year's AC Scratch: New Year’s Charm '25

Starting from December 24, 2025, the new New Year's Charm '25 scratch presents players with unique costumes themed around ninjas and traditional Japanese clothing. Special rewards, including alternate versions of motion change items and weapon camouflage, will be available as well.

Revival AC Scratch for Popular Items

On December 27, 2025, players can access the End-of-Year Popular Item Revival '25 scratch, featuring previously released sought-after avatar items. Previous favorites such as Oto Giyouki Hair and Fantimagi Hair will be back, along with potential bonuses from previous iterations.
