Zerova's Advanced MCS Charging Station Unveiled at IAA Transportation 2026

The company has introduced its innovative Megawatt Charging System (MCS) tailored for heavy-duty electric trucks and buses, further cementing its leadership in the field of electric vehicle charging.

Marking the Future of Electric Vehicle Charging


The MCS charger has been designed with European fleet managers in mind, who are increasingly transitioning toward high-capacity charging solutions. This state-of-the-art charging station is not only capable of delivering an impressive 1,440 kW and up to 1,500 A of liquid-cooled output per unit, but it also supports a voltage range between 150 and 950 V DC (for the DO360 model) and 200 to 950 V DC (for the DZ480 model).

Upon its launch, Zerova's MCS charger is anchored in the proven architecture of its existing power cabinets, the DO360 and DZ480. It adheres to the CharIN Megawatt Charging System standard, aligning with the recent IEC TS 63379 specification for connectors introduced early this year. This places the MCS in a strong position amidst evolving regulatory frameworks across Europe.

Custom-Built for Professional Fleets


The MCS station comes equipped with flexible charging cables of either 5 or 7 meters, designed to be compatible with both the MCS and CCS2 connectors. It features a 10.4-inch touchscreen certified to IK8 standards, providing user-friendly interaction, and offers multiple authentication options including RFID, QR code, and Plug Charge. Moreover, it boasts an optional credit card payment feature through integrated terminals. The system supports OCPP 1.6J and OCPP 2.0.1 protocols, ensuring seamless integration with charging management systems.

Zerova emphasizes that the MCS charging station not only complies with CE standards but also with the IEC 61851-1 and IEC 61851-23 requirements, making it ideal for deployment in the European Union and the European Economic Area.
