AGCF Partners with World Childhood Foundation for Child Protection Initiatives

AGCF Partners with World Childhood Foundation to Protect Children

In a significant step towards safeguarding children's rights, the AGCF (Alexandra Gucci Zarini Foundation) has announced a strategic partnership with the World Childhood Foundation USA. This collaboration aims to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation, strengthening efforts to protect vulnerable children across the globe.

Founded by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden, the World Childhood Foundation USA is committed to creating a world where children can grow up free from harm. Alexandra Gucci Zarini, a survivor of childhood trauma herself, has always emphasized her passion for child protection. This partnership is not merely a business venture but a deeply personal mission for Zarini. “Protecting children is AGCF's mission. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, this work is deeply personal to me,” says Zarini.

Combining Forces for Greater Impact

Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden, who serves as the Honorary Deputy Chair of the World Childhood Foundation, expressed her confidence in the partnership. “Real change begins with individuals who care deeply enough to act—people who believe things can be different,” she stated.

The collaboration is set to kick off with the launch of “The Color of Hope Collection,” featuring AGCF’s signature green. This line will include handbags, scarves, and accessories, showcasing the new color dedicated to the World Childhood Foundation. With each item sold, 20% of the proceeds will be directly donated to support the Foundation’s essential work.

The Color of Hope Collection

In Zarini's words, “The Color of Hope Collection extends across our handbags, scarves, and accessories, each piece finished in the color that carries our promise to children.” The collection will be available on the AGCF website and in select retail locations, aiming to raise awareness while contributing financially to the cause.

Mary L. Pulido, Ph.D., the Executive Director of World Childhood Foundation USA, emphasized the importance of the partnership. “This collaboration demonstrates how purpose, influence, and resources can come together for the benefit of children. We are excited to work alongside Alexandra Gucci Zarini and to foster trauma-informed solutions that protect children and support survivors,” she stated.

This partnership holds the potential to transform the landscape of child protection initiatives. By merging AGCF's luxury fashion appeal with advocacy, they aim to send a strong message that luxury can be linked with social responsibility.

A Legacy of Change

Since its establishment in 1999, the World Childhood Foundation has made strides in addressing the issues surrounding child abuse and exploitation. The foundation not only funds prevention programs but also engages in advocacy for legislative improvements concerning children’s rights. AGCF, in turn, operates as a Public Benefit Corporation, dedicating a portion of its profits to charitable causes related to children.

Alexandra Zarini’s remarkable work in this field was recognized when she was awarded the Child Protection Advocate of the Year at the World Childhood Foundation USA's Annual Gala in 2025. Her commitment to this cause cements AGCF's place as a leader in the luxury sector that strives for meaningful social change.

Building a Safer Future for Children

As the partnership unfolds, the focus will remain on enhancing prevention strategies and advocating for children who are the most vulnerable in society. With the collective efforts of both organizations, they aspire to build a future where every child has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, nurturing environment.

In a world where the exploitation of children continues to be a pressing issue, AGCF and the World Childhood Foundation USA are setting a powerful example of how businesses can engage in advocacy. Together, they aim not just to create products but to foster a vision of hope and safety for future generations.
