BOE Concludes 'Light the Way Forward' Initiative

On October 31, BOE Technology Group held a ceremonial closing for its educational charity initiative, "Light the Way Forward," along with the "100 Traditional Culture Lectures" program at the Palace Museum in Beijing. This initiative, in operation for the past decade, has established 156 smart classrooms across ten provinces in China, significantly benefiting over 70,000 teachers and students.

The 'Light the Way Forward' initiative is a testament to BOE's dedication to addressing educational disparities through innovative technology. The program's launch is a collaborative effort with the Palace Museum, focusing on incorporating traditional Chinese culture into the classrooms of remote areas using BOE's advanced educational solutions and digital technology. Within just one and a half years, this program reached approximately 40 schools, positively impacting the education of over 20,000 students. It aims to promote sustainable development while integrating technology, education, and culture, thereby paving new paths for the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage.

A spokesperson for BOE stated, "The 'Light the Way Forward' initiative has evolved into an open, diverse, and sustainable charitable platform. It not only provides material support but also empowers communities through its content. This initiative reflects our commitment to corporate social responsibility in collaboration with our partners. We believe technology is not merely a cold tool but a powerful force that brings warmth."

As a pioneer in digital culture innovation, BOE is committed to intertwining culture with technology through responsible practices. In recent years, the company has collaborated with numerous cultural institutions, including the Palace Museum. This year, BOE assisted the museum in hosting its centennial exhibition by co-developing the 3D, glasses-free digital exhibition, "Meet the Colors of the Palace Museum," along with the digital display room for the Qianlong Garden. These efforts highlight technology's role as a bridge that conveys beauty and connects diverse cultures.

BOE’s ongoing commitment to its sustainable vision, termed "Open Next Earth," emphasizes educational empowerment through the synergy of technology and culture. They strive to reach even more children in the future, ensuring that the benefits of their initiatives extend far and wide.

The 'Light the Way Forward' initiative not only serves as a model for integrating technological solutions in education but also illustrates the significant impact a company can have in promoting cultural education and sustainability. Moving forward, BOE will keep pursuing innovative solutions that fulfill their mission of supporting equal access to education and enriching cultural understanding through technology.

As technological advancements continue to rise and reshape our educational landscape, initiatives like these pave the way for a more inclusive and culturally rich future, laying the groundwork for generations to come.
