Wang Wenbin, the Dean of the School of Journalism and New Media at Xi'an Jiaotong University, presented the 'FanXing 2024 Mini-Drama Industry Insight Report.' The report highlighted that a staggering 70% of internet users are currently engaged with mini-dramas, solidifying their position as a dominant form of online entertainment.

The dynamic landscape of this creative ecosystem has been further diversified with the increasing participation of video platforms, broadcasters, and traditional film studios. Quality-focused production processes are starting to yield promising results, evidencing the maturation of the mini-drama industry.

The 'Starlight Shines • Mini-Drama Night' event concluded with a ceremony honoring 65 exemplary cases across seven categories, recognizing outstanding mini-dramas, platforms, and production organizations that reflect the vibrancy of the sector.

Furthermore, this series featured four concurrent forums addressing critical topics such as quality improvement of mini-dramas, global expansion opportunities, AIGC-supported innovations in mini-drama production, and investment and entrepreneurship within the sector. These discussions fostered dialogue, resource sharing, and potential collaborations among industry leaders, emphasizing the importance of cooperative efforts in driving the mini-drama industry forward.
