This event aims to address crucial adaptations required within the logistics industry in light of the upcoming amendments to the efficiency enhancement law.

Overview of the Seminar

With imminent changes mandating the appointment of a Chief Logistics Officer (CLO) and the formulation of mid to long-term plans, the logistics sector is moving from just understanding legal basics to implementing concrete strategies. This seminar will focus on answering important questions concerning practical initial steps.

We will welcome Kyouwa Araki, a former executive at Sunstar Group and a pioneer CLO, who will share his expertise on identifying logistics challenges and strategizing effective responses.

Araki's extensive experience in logistics management encompasses roles at Sunstar Group since 1994, where he was instrumental in initiating a supply chain management (SCM) department that consolidated logistics processes and accomplished significant inventory reduction.

• - Program 2: JPR’s Efforts in Supporting Customer Logistics

President Atsushi Nimura will discuss JPR’s initiatives towards standardization and collaboration in the logistics sector, emphasizing how these efforts enhance customer logistics management.

Nimura has been with JPR since 1993, and in his current role, he advocates for the advancement of the pallet industry and engages in international logistics collaborations across East Asia.
