Hollyland WeConnect 2025 Concludes Celebrating Global Creativity and Cultural Exchange
Hollyland WeConnect 2025: A Global Celebration of Culture and Creativity
On September 12, 2025, Hollyland's WeConnect 2025 campaign came to a close, marking the end of almost two months packed with activities that showcased a stunning fusion of technology, culture, and creativity. This year's theme of CONNECTION transcended geographical and cultural boundaries, providing a platform that fostered intercultural exploration and creative exchanges.
The focal point of this initiative was the WeConnect 2025 China Tour, which brought together over 30 content creators from around the world, including prominent figures like Landon Bytheway from Full Time Filmmaker, digital content creator Jairo Eslava, and Indonesian actor Chandra Liow. They embarked on a five-day journey through Shenzhen and Chongqing, diving deep into the rich cultural tapestry of these cities.
The inaugural event kicked off on August 27 at Hollyland's Shenzhen headquarters, where participants quickly established connections and engaged in hands-on sessions featuring cutting-edge technology such as laser recording microphones and the new VenusLiv Air streaming camera. Attendees participated in a live forum that encouraged discourse and set the foundation for collaborative exploration.
In Chongqing, the focus shifted to cultural immersion. Participants experienced the city's vibrant traditions through a lively evening featuring the local specialty, hotpot, and dialect-based games, capped off with a mesmerizing performance of Sichuan opera. A visit to Jiaotong tea house demonstrated the intricate artistry of tea pouring, allowing participants to engage with local customs intimately. Scenic visits, including Raffles City’s floating forest and panoramic swing rides, provided breathtaking backdrops that sparked creative ideas for visual storytelling.
By August 30, attendees had transitioned into storytellers themselves, capturing the pulse of Chongqing through their photography. Images of trains weaving through urban landscapes and the city’s night scene illuminated by lights showcased the dynamic contrasts present in Chongqing. The final day included photography sessions in a historical studio and hands-on activities focusing on intangible cultural heritage, such as Chinese calligraphy and moxibustion, fostering a deeper emotional connection to the local culture.
Over the course of the tour, participants not only experienced Hollyland's state-of-the-art technology but also witnessed firsthand the integration of Chinese innovation into daily life. The cultural experiences deepened participants' understanding from broad impressions to personal reflections. The collaborative creation ethos of the event encouraged participants to appreciate diversity, forge meaningful connections, and work collectively toward shared objectives. The tour ultimately served as a bridge for connection, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
Complementing the China tour were special sessions of the Hollyland Academy held in nine different countries. Each stop featured creative workshops incorporating local cultural activities, ranging from Egyptian salad preparation and Emirati seafood cooking to Brazilian barbecue, football matches, and temple visits in Thailand. These offerings enriched the creative training of participants while weaving technology seamlessly into the process, aligning with WeConnect's mission to marry cultural inspiration with skill development.
Meanwhile, Hollyland employed digital platforms to invite global audiences to participate actively in content creation. One of the standout events was the Sound Museum, a highly engaging platform where participants shared their auditory experiences related to culture and technology. This initiative saw interactions from over 5,044 individuals, creating a collective
