New Collaboration DLC for Onimusha: Way of the Sword

The highly acclaimed game "Onimusha: Way of the Sword" has just released a free DLC that integrates costumes inspired by the beloved hunting game "Monster Hunter Rise." This exciting collaboration allows players to immerse themselves in the rich, traditional Japanese world of Onimusha while revamping their characters with stylish new looks.

Unlock Unique Costumes

Players can now acquire unique costumes for the prominent characters, Oni no Kajin (Shizuka Gozen) and Izumo Okuni, styling them after Hinoue and Yomogi from Monster Hunter Rise, respectively. While the aesthetic changes are purely visual and do not affect gameplay mechanics, they provide a fresh, new appearance to the characters in the game.

- Oni no Kajin's Costume: "Sunlight Wisdom"

This costume closely resembles the outfit of Hinoue, the village receptionist from Monster Hunter Rise. However, it’s important to note that this version cannot be used for quest sign-ups.

- Izumo Okuni's Costume: "Yomogi's Dance"

Designed to mirror the appearance of Yomogi from Monster Hunter Rise, this costume, like Kajin's, cannot be used for crafting dumplings despite its cute design.

Players can access these costumes through the in-game "Exorcism Mirror" under "Appearance Change." Please note that you will unlock this feature gradually as you progress through the game.

Special Manga Collaboration

To celebrate this exciting DLC launch, a special collaboration manga has been created! The story features a fun crossover where Hinoue and Yomogi visit the Kyoto setting of Onimusha. Titled "Onimusha is Radical!", this comic includes three episodes and is available to read on the official website and social media pages.

Additionally, fans can look forward to another series titled "Shizuka and Okuni Came to Play!" which will be released on September 8, featuring cute interactions between the characters.
