Verdek Secures Major Sourcewell Contract for EV Charging Solutions

In a significant move for the electric transportation sector, Verdek, LLC has been awarded the Sourcewell Contract #021825-VRK, aimed at enhancing electric vehicle (EV) charging capabilities for eligible public-sector and nonprofit organizations. This agreement marks a courageous step toward a sustainable energy future, providing access to EV charging solutions that are both competitive and comprehensive.

Verdek is known for its end-to-end EV charging infrastructure services, and this contract signifies the trust placed in them to deliver effective solutions. The contract encompasses various charging technologies, including DC fast charging solutions (ranging from 24 to 200+ kW) and Level 2 AC chargers (7.7 to 19.2 kW). Additionally, it allows for a suite of services that includes site surveys, engineering, procurement enablement, utility coordination, and ongoing support.

The partnership was officially introduced during a Contract Launch event held at Sourcewell's headquarters in Staples, Minnesota, where senior officials from both organizations discussed strategies for swift contract adoption and customer enablement. This event highlighted the shared vision between Verdek and Sourcewell in advancing the interests of government agencies and public organizations, all while addressing the growing demand for EV infrastructure.

Sourcewell, a self-funded government agency, facilitates public procurement by providing cooperative purchasing contracts. This contract allows thousands of public entities across the United States and Canada, including municipalities, government agencies, and educational institutions, to swiftly enhance their EV charging infrastructure. Furthermore, the contract is accessible to U.S. Department of Defense authorized installations, illustrating its wide-reaching implications for public service agencies.
