Discover the Tamagawa Riverside Wine Festival
Get ready for one of Japan's largest wine festivals, the
Tamagawa Riverside Wine Festival, taking place on
November 2nd. With the pleasant autumn weather expected over the three-day weekend, it’s the perfect opportunity for families and friends to gather along the riverside in
Futakotamagawa to enjoy exquisite wines and delicious gourmet food.
This remarkable event is being produced by
Yoshihiro Chiba, the owner of the local sake shop
NEW VALLEY, who boasts over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, including serving as a wine school instructor. The festival will showcase a fantastic lineup of wine importers, craft beer makers, and talented chefs and bakers from both in and around Futakotamagawa.
A Wine Lover's Paradise
Attendees will have the chance to indulge in an impressive selection of
300 different types of natural wines, curated by small-scale producers and wine importers. Many of these wines are the same ones featured in Michelin-starred restaurants, ensuring quality that will impress even the most discerning palates. Each wine will be served in
30ml tastings, allowing guests to sample a diverse range of flavors. For those who enjoy beer, there will also be excellent craft beers available.
If you’re feeling hungry, the festival will gather an array of enticing food vendors, including bakeries, dessert shops, and some of
Futakotamagawa's finest eateries. Make sure to arrive with an appetite, as the selection of culinary delights may be hard to resist, and be prepared to settle your bill at each booth.
