Foundations to Freedom Partners with Carson Ware for the Winn-Dixie 250

In an effort to raise awareness about substance use recovery, Foundations to Freedom, a nonprofit organization based in Volusia County, has announced its role as the primary partner of NASCAR driver Carson Ware for the prestigious NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Winn-Dixie 250. This event, set to take place on August 28th, 2026, at the iconic Daytona International Speedway, will not only highlight the race but also focus on the importance of recovery and community support.

Expanding Impact and Visibility

Founded in 2022, Foundations to Freedom has made significant strides in helping individuals battling addiction. Starting with just one recovery home, the organization has expanded to 11 facilities across Volusia and Flagler counties, providing over 100 beds. The partnership with Carson Ware aims to amplify their mission by reaching a national audience when Ware's No. 47 Chevrolet carries the Foundations to Freedom name during the race, broadcasted on The CW.

However, the collaboration goes beyond the visibility on the race track. Just days before the race, on August 26th, Carson Ware will engage in community outreach activities, connecting directly with those served by Foundations to Freedom. His day will begin at the Volusia Regional Juvenile Detention Center, where he will share his personal journey with at-risk youth, emphasizing the importance of making wise life choices.
