Jessica M. Klersy: A Beacon of Hope for the Elderly and Special Needs Community

Celebrating Jessica M. Klersy

On March 17, 2025, Jessica M. Klersy was recognized as a Pinnacle Professional Member by The Inner Circle for her exceptional work in advocating for individuals with special needs and the elderly. This accolade highlights her significant contributions to these vulnerable populations, where legal advocacy can often make a crucial difference in their quality of life.

Jessica is the founder and managing partner of Klersy Law, P.C. Her commitment to legal advocacy is deeply personal. At the age of seventeen, she lost her hearing and faced numerous challenges in gaining access to the accommodations she needed. This experience fueled her determination to ensure that others facing similar obstacles would not struggle without a voice. As a result, she embarked on a journey to become a lawyer, focusing on empowering those who often feel powerless.

Jessica earned her Juris Doctorate from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in May 2017. Impressively, she became a member of the New York State Bar the same year after passing the Bar exam during her final semester, a testament to her dedication and talent. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Therapeutic Recreation from St. Joseph's College.

In her early legal career, she worked at Touro Law Center's Elder Law Clinic, advocating for the rights of the elderly. This experience laid the groundwork for her current practice, Klersy Law, P.C., where she specializes in estate planning and elder law, providing families and individuals with invaluable legal services. Her work does not go unnoticed; she has received several accolades, including the Honorable Joel K. Asarch Elder Law and Special Needs Section Scholarship from the New York State Bar Association. Additionally, she participated in the 2017 Pro Bono Scholar Program, allowing her to pass the Bar exam ahead of graduation, demonstrating her commitment to serving others.

Jessica is also working on authoring a book set to be published in early 2025, which will serve as a resource for individuals facing similar challenges in estate planning and legal advocacy. This book aims to provide crucial insights and strategies for navigating the legal landscape that can often feel overwhelming, particularly for those in vulnerable situations.

Outside her professional life, Jessica enjoys expressing her creativity through crafting. Using her Cricut machine, she creates personalized gifts for friends and family, ranging from custom tumblers and t-shirts to items for weddings and baby showers. This hobby not only allows her to connect with loved ones but also offers a therapeutic outlet amidst her busy professional life. She deeply values time spent with her two nephews, finding joy in their company and cherishing the moments they share.

As Klersy Law, P.C. continues to grow, Jessica remains unwavering in her mission to provide high-quality legal services and compassionate advocacy for individuals with special needs and the elderly. Her belief that legal guidance should be accessible and thorough drives her work, empowering clients to protect their families, assets, and legacies. Through her efforts, Jessica M. Klersy stands as a beacon of hope and support for those who need it most, tirelessly championing their rights and well-being.
