Quilceda Creek Launches Rare Wine Collection to Fund Cancer Research Initiatives

Quilceda Creek's Noble Cause: A Celebration of Excellence in Wine and Hope in Cancer Research

In a heartfelt initiative coinciding with Cancer Awareness Month, Quilceda Creek, one of Washington State's prestigious family-owned wineries, has unveiled an extraordinary opportunity to support cancer research. The winery's President Paul Golitzin and General Manager Scott Lloyd announced the forthcoming release of a rare collection of library wines, set to hit the market on October 27. This ambitious plan aims to raise $250,000 for the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), with 50% of all proceeds from this unique wine campaign directly benefiting the institute.

Founded in 1978, Quilceda Creek has carved its name in the annals of winemaking history, celebrated for its unparalleled Cabernet Sauvignons. With more than 100-point accolades from leading wine critics, Quilceda stands as one of the formidable American producers gaining recognition around the world. Generally, access to their vintages is reserved for an exclusive mailing list, making this campaign—a part of their #QuilcedaCares initiative—a significant event. For only the second time in its nearly five-decade history, the winery will open its library of coveted wines to the public, allowing wine enthusiasts and collectors a rare opportunity to partake in this charitable cause.
