G's Academy Celebrates a Decade of Transformative Education
G's Academy (G’s), part of Digital Hollywood Co., Ltd., is proudly marking its 10th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, the institution is hosting a unique essay contest themed
"Let’s Break It Down, Create It, Ourselves, and the World." This initiative is designed to encourage individuals from all walks of life to express their personal challenges and aspirations through written word.
The contest invites participants to reflect on their values, question established norms, and explore their potential to reshape the world. By sharing their stories, insights, and challenges, entrants can help build a diverse tapestry of perspectives and intentions in society. In a world that continuously evolves, G's aims to redefine and communicate its core belief of
“Changing the world with your own strength.”
Contest Overview
The essay competition, set to kick off in May 2025, intends to resonate with G’s newly defined brand message. Participants are encouraged to share their authentic narratives reflecting either:
1.
Real Experiences: This division seeks essays recounting genuine experiences where individuals have faced the challenge of breaking down and reconstructing aspects of their identity or the world around them. Entrants should articulate their feelings, confrontations, and processes during such transformations.
2.
Future Aspirations: This section invites creative representations of ideas yet to come into fruition. Participants can express what they seek to dismantle or create in their futures, exploring uncharted territories through fiction, declarations, or innovative concepts.
The competition is open to anyone regardless of age or profession. The entries can vary from essays to poetic expressions within a word count of 400 to 2000 words.
Awards and Recognition
Winners will receive a cash prize of 100,000 yen for each of the best entries in both categories. Additionally, a significant part of the event will be the awards ceremony, where chosen authors will not only be recognized but also engage in dialogue with judges. This interactive experience aims to foster deeper self-expression and connection among participants.
