WalkMe Announces Ryo Noda's Appointment as Country Manager
WalkMe, a global frontrunner in digital adoption platforms (DAP), has officially announced the appointment of Ryo Noda as the new Country Manager (CEO) for its Japan operations, effective November 1, 2025. Noda replaces Masahiro Ono, who has successfully led the company since its inception in Japan and played a significant role in its strategic integration with the SAP Group, set for 2024. Ono will step down on September 30, 2025, after which Scott Little, the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), will temporarily oversee the leadership during October.
Background of Ryo Noda
Ryo Noda's career began in 1999 at a consulting firm, where he dealt with various business application projects. He joined SAP Japan in 2003 and has since gathered over 20 years of experience, contributing significantly to projects ranging from internal IT to customer engagements. His leadership skills were particularly evident when he spearheaded the establishment of consulting services focused on the financial industry and global account management initiatives. Most recently, he served as the Managing Partner for a leading domestic ICT company, where he played a critical role in promoting digital transformation (DX) with a focus on maximizing SAP solutions and strengthening ties with SAP.
Noda's Vision for WalkMe
Upon his appointment, Noda expressed his deep honor and excitement. He stated, “Joining as the Country Manager for WalkMe Japan is a tremendous opportunity. Over the course of 25 years in the business application domain, I've been fortunate to engage in every phase from concept to implementation and real-world application. One recurring challenge has been the difficulty users face in fully utilizing the systems and structures we implement. As a result, companies often fail to capitalize on the DX potential they possess.”
Noda emphasized that WalkMe's DAP is more than just guidance or manuals; it empowers users to comprehend the 'why' and 'how' of their tasks, seamlessly linking their actions to successful business outcomes. He added, “WalkMe transcends the last barrier between people and systems, significantly accelerating DX through its digital adoption capabilities.” Noda is committed to enhancing the value offered to customers, partners, and employees, particularly in the Japanese market.
