The Premiere of 'The Story of Rice'
In an effort to promote and celebrate Japan's rich rice culture, Plenus Co., Ltd. is excited to announce the online premiere of the documentary film,
'The Story of Rice.' This film captures the essence of Japan's food heritage centered around rice, as well as the beautiful landscapes and traditional practices that have evolved over centuries.
About the Documentary
Directed by the talented Irish chef Rachel Allen, viewers will accompany her on a journey across various regions of Japan. Through her lens, the film highlights the intricacies of Japanese food culture, showcasing not only rice but also how it intertwines with the daily lives and traditions of the Japanese people.
