Unique Craft Beer Experience Begins
In the picturesque Yoriimachi town of Saitama, Japan, a special collaboration is brewing: the limited-release craft beer named
‘MID LAND HOPS,’ crafted from the fresh hops grown thanks to the community initiative known as the
Yoriimachi Ale Project. The unveiling of this product took place on
October 13, 2025, and it will be available to the general public starting on
October 16, 2025. This initiative is spearheaded by
Lina Co., Ltd., headed by Masahiro Ogawa, combining their brewery,
VectorBrewing, with local agriculture to create a unique drinking experience.
The Story Behind Yoriimachi Ale Project
The
Yoriimachi Ale Project is an exciting venture launched in 2024, aimed at cultivating hops and brewing beer to foster a local culture centered around deliciousness, fun, and connection. The team consists of key community figures including Shinozaki, Kubo, Kasahara, and Okumura from VectorBrewing. They are dedicated to expanding the hop cultivation area year after year, increasing it by twofold in the second year alone. The project gathered more than
60 community members for a harvest festival, celebrating the culmination of their teamwork.
