Charichari and Rising Zephyr Fukuoka Collaborate
Charichari, a popular bike-sharing service operating in Fukuoka, has initiated a thrilling collaboration with Rising Zephyr Fukuoka, a professional basketball team in the B.LEAGUE B2 division. This partnership comes as Charichari is appointed as the official supplier for the team, marking a new chapter in community-oriented transportation solutions.
Starting January 28, 2026, residents and fans in Fukuoka will witness the launch of the special “Rising Zephyr Collaboration Charichari.” These uniquely designed bicycles feature artwork inspired by the team's players and mascot, Jin-kun. A total of 50 bicycles will be available, with three exceptionally designed models that showcase the autographs and a message for traffic safety from players Yusuke Kano (No. 32), Toshikazu Kato (No. 33), and Matoi Nakaya (No. 20).
To celebrate this collaboration, Charichari is hosting an exciting campaign where participants can enter to win original stickers featuring the caricatures of the players and mascot. 20 lucky winners will be selected, and the campaign runs from January 31 to February 8, 2026. To enter, participants must follow Charichari's official X account (@charichari_bike) and repost the campaign announcement.
Charichari operates with the mission of creating new habits for urban mobility, using shared bicycles to tackle daily transportation challenges faced by communities. The company focuses on facilitating easy access to bikes through a user-friendly smartphone app. Utilizing a simple process, users can quickly unlock a bright red Charichari bicycle, with rates starting at 7 yen per minute for standard bikes and 17 yen for electric-assist models. Since its inception in February 2018, Charichari has recorded over 42 million rides across various regions, including Fukuoka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Kumamoto.
In addition to collaboration efforts, Charichari has already established bicycle ports at the Seaside House Arena, the home ground of Rising Zephyr Fukuoka, and in the Fukuoka Island City region, which has been a hit with locals since its launch in 2021.
Fans attending home games on February 8 and 9, 2026, are encouraged to use the collaboration bicycles as they cheer for their favorite team, enhancing the match-day experience.
