Iridge and Qoil Produce Corporate Vision Film for KokuBun Group's Long-Term Management Plan

Introduction

In the ever-evolving landscape of the business world, clear communication and understanding of corporate goals become pivotal in guiding an organization’s success. Iridge, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, and its group company Qoil, specializing in communication design, have taken significant steps to support KokuBun Group's new long-term management plan through an engaging vision film. This initiative not only aims to foster better internal communication but also seeks to align all employees with the company's objectives as they embark on this strategic journey.

Background of the Initiative

KokuBun Group, a longstanding player in the food wholesale market with over 300 years of history, is set to launch its 12th long-term management plan in January 2026. In light of dynamic changes in the economic landscape, it is crucial for the company to define its vision clearly. The emphasis is on making each employee relate to the plan personally, which led to the development of this insightful video project designed to articulate the core essence of the strategy.

Iridge Group's Contributions

The collaboration between Iridge and Qoil goes beyond mere video production. Their involvement revolved around the critical process of transforming complex information into a compelling narrative. Here are the key contributions made during the project:

  • - Information Organization and Storytelling: The project began with a thorough analysis of numerous documents and strategy papers. Concepts such as 'Forecasting and Backcasting' were distilled into a cohesive narrative that resonated emotionally with employees, ensuring that the strategic plans were not just read but felt.

  • - Emotional Direction by Experienced Filmmakers: For the production of this vision film, a director with a film background was selected to create an evocative visual presentation within a brief runtime of under ten minutes. Additionally, a silent version was crafted for use at exhibitions, showcasing the versatility and effectiveness of the content.

  • - Strategic Redefinition of Internal Communication: Recognizing the importance of integrating video with existing corporate communication materials, the team proposed a framework for how the film would complement other communication methods. They positioned the video as a pivotal component in the overall internal branding strategy to enhance communication across the organization.

Future Outlook

Looking ahead, Iridge Group aims to leverage its strengths in app development and OMO (Online Merges with Offline) marketing support to drive success for businesses. By enhancing their branding and internal communication strategies with Qoil's creative and planning expertise, they hope to maintain a seamless integration from strategy formulation to implementation in order to facilitate sustainable growth for their clients.
