Advancing Talent Development in Malaysia
In an exciting new partnership, the Association for Talent Development (ATD) has joined forces with HRD Corp to boost workplace training and talent capacity in Malaysia. This collaboration promises to enrich the local talent ecosystem and strengthen the nation's global competitiveness in various sectors.
As a key component of this initiative, HRD Corp successfully hosted the ATD Master Trainer™ Program in 2025, gathering 64 exemplary trainers from throughout Malaysia. This esteemed program is designed to provide advanced methodologies based on international best practices, empowering facilitators with the skills needed to create impactful learning environments.
Participants in the ATD Master Trainer™ Program were introduced to a suite of globally recognized frameworks and tools by ATD, enhancing their capabilities to design and implement effective learning experiences. Upon completing the rigorous training, all 68 participants received the esteemed ATD Master Trainer™ certification, a mark of distinction in the field of talent development.
In a further push to enhance accessibility, HRD Corp recognized 13 ATD certificate courses as fully claimable under its funding scheme, beginning in 2026. This initiative, in collaboration with local training providers such as MIS Academy, Ishayu Academy, and Aurora Training and Consultancy, significantly lowers financial obstacles for individuals and organizations eager to access superior training. Thus, more people can now engage in high-quality talent development workshops.
