The celebrated illustrator and manga artist Yuuki Kikuchi is set to showcase his work in a solo exhibition titled
'fRIEND' by Room mate. This exciting event, arranged by
Hikidashi Co., Ltd. in collaboration with
NATAL DESIGN, will be held at
Goyo Gallery located in the
TERRADA ART COMPLEX II from
May 16 to May 31, 2026.
Kikuchi is widely recognized for his vibrant creations that resonate with a diverse audience. He gained significant attention with the publication of his comic series
'100 Days Until the Crocodile Dies', which not only became a massive hit on Twitter (now X) but also sold over
350,000 copies in book format. This online phenomenon led to the subsequent release of characters like the Crocodile and Mouse, compelling fans to engage deeply with his whimsical narratives.
Showcasing a Colorful Universe
The exhibition focuses on Kikuchi's colorful works centered around the theme of
friendship. Expect to see large canvases of his well-loved series
'Wani to Nezumi' (Crocodile and Mouse) along with new concepts that explore emotional connections and comfort that friends provide.
Among the standout pieces, visitors can also look forward to seeing works from Kikuchi's latest four-panel comic,
