Scheduled for December 12, 2026, and January 16, 2027, this initiative by the Toshima Future Cultural Foundation aims to promote creativity and cultural exchange among diverse communities.

Culinary Experience

Participants will have the opportunity to dive into the traditional culinary heritage of Burkina Faso, with a cooking class that focuses on the quintessential dish known as "To," a staple in West African diets. Together, attendees will prepare and enjoy this beloved home-cooked meal, allowing them to experience the warmth and hospitality of daily life in Burkina Faso. This hands-on session not only highlights the flavors of African cuisine but also fosters a sense of community through shared cooking practices.
Prepare to create:
  • - “To” (Traditional Dough): A porridge-like staple made from millet, served with two distinct sauces – Baobab and Okra.
  • - “Bashi” (Dessert): A sweet millet porridge, a delightful finish to the meal.
  • - “Bissap” (Tea): A refreshing drink that complements the culinary journey.
