Jennifer Haltom Doan Takes Office as National President of ABOTA
On January 25, 2025, Jennifer Haltom Doan was sworn in as the National President of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) during the organization's National Annual Meeting held in Los Cabos, Mexico. The ceremony saw her being installed by Justice Ruby Sondock (Ret.), who made history as the first female justice on the Texas Supreme Court.
Jennifer Haltom Doan, a distinguished member of ABOTA since 2007, has held various key positions, having served on the National Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees for the ABOTA Foundation. She has also acted in numerous capacities such as the Co-Chair of important committees and as a faculty member for various trial programs. With extensive expertise in the courtroom, Ms. Doan has established herself as a formidable trial lawyer specializing in fields such as product liability and intellectual property.

She is equally enthusiastic about incorporating new technologies within the legal profession, underscoring a commitment to both the past and future of trial advocacy.
Reflecting on her appointment, Ms. Doan remarked, "It is the honor of my career to be able to serve ABOTA.
