About the Novel

"Hana mo Dango mo - Haru Yobu Wagashi to Nara no Machi" features Asahi Konno, a rookie wagashi craftsman at the old shop "Kotokoto-an" in Nara. Asahi faces challenges from his mentor, a mischievous yokai named Yuraku, who often disrupts his hard work by turning his meticulously crafted sweets into whimsical creations. The love for traditional wagashi, juxtaposed against the whimsical antics of the yokai, creates a warm narrative as they help customers untangle their woes. However, both share a secret that neither of them knows about the other.
