Participants can select words from cards representing the traditional syllable structure of Tanka (5-7-5-7-7), crafting a poem uniquely their own. The event allows visitors to showcase their completed Tanka on social media with the hashtag #あなたに贈る短歌, entering them into a draw for fabulous prizes.

The event’s location also featured a beautifully wrapped escalator adorned with selected poems from the contest, delighting visitors as they ascended from the 6th to the 7th floor. This enchanting installation complemented the festival's theme of connection, emphasizing the deep interplay of words and emotions that Tanka embodies.

The 'Ariake Spring Festival' at TOKYO DREAM PARK runs from March 27 to May 10, 2026, with free admission available. While the booth will not hold daily draws from April 6 to 24, visitors can still enjoy the poetry experience.
