A Unique Summer Experience at PANZA Gifu
From July 19 to August 23, 2026, PANZA Gifu Seiryu Satoyama Park, operated by Project Adventure Japan, offers a special educational program designed for children in elementary school. This program invites kids to step into the shoes of adventure facility staff, allowing them to engage in a variety of activities such as checking safety gear, assisting with harnessing, and guiding participants through thrilling courses. It’s a unique opportunity where children not only enjoy an adventure park but also learn invaluable lessons about safety and responsibility.
Role Reversal: Kids as Leaders
One of the most exciting aspects of this event is the role reversal between parents and children. In an inspiring twist, kids will be responsible for equipping their parents with harnesses, explaining the rules, and sending them onto the course. This unique experience allows children, who are usually the ones being cared for, to take a leadership role and support their family’s safety and challenges for a day. It’s an excellent way to enhance communication and strengthen the bond between parents and children through shared experiences.
Safety and Responsibility through Play
At PANZA, the cornerstone of all challenges lies in safety. Through their participation as junior staff, children will understand the extensive responsibilities and thoughtful designs that ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. They will learn critical values such as:
- - Supporting others in their challenges
- - Considering the safety of others
- - Acting with responsibility and care
These valuable experiences foster a sense of responsibility, confidence, and the understanding that they can play a crucial role in helping others.
A Great Fit for Summer Projects
At the conclusion of the event, each participant will receive a Junior Staff Certification, a worksheet for summer projects, and materials to create a report. These resources provide children the chance to compile their experiences and learnings into an engaging summer project. PANZA strives to offer transformative experiences that resonate with the hearts and minds of children, forging connections with their future.
