Enhancing Safety in Energy Storage: Desay Battery's Innovations at RE+ 2025
During the recent RE+ 2025 conference held from September 8-11, Desay Battery emerged as a leading global provider of comprehensive energy storage solutions. The event showcased their impressive portfolio, particularly focusing on innovations aimed at enhancing safety within the industry. Desay Battery also announced a strategic partnership with Shenzhen Hello Tech Energy, marking a significant step in collaborative advancements in energy technology.
The highlight of Desay Battery’s exhibition was the introduction of a patented active safety technology system designed to tackle one of the most significant industry challenges: battery safety. This advanced system, developed from extensive experimental data and correlation analysis, integrates state-of-the-art temperature and pressure sensors into the cell architecture powered by AI. This setup allows for real-time monitoring throughout the product's lifecycle, enabling prompt risk identification related to overcharging, short circuits, or lithium plating.
Additionally, a newly developed corrosion-resistant sensor ensures accurate data collection even under demanding environmental conditions. It records voltage, internal temperature, and pressure, forming a 'data triangle' that drives Desay’s next-generation Battery Management System (BMS). The integration of this system with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and cloud-based AI optimizes cooling, refines charging procedures, extends system life, and enhances overall efficiency.
Alongside their AI-powered platform, Desay Battery displayed a diverse range of lithium and sodium batteries including lithium cells with capacities of 100 Ah, 280 Ah, and 314 Ah, along with a sodium cell of 60 Ah. Moreover, they offered modular battery systems and a series of integrated storage cabinets ranging from 215 kWh to 344 kWh. Their expansive scope was further underlined by large-scale solutions such as a 5 MWh liquid-cooled container system, as well as critical infrastructure offerings like UPS cabinets and home energy storage systems.
The exhibition notably addressed energy demand solutions for data centers by integrating photovoltaic generation with advanced storage, achieving optimized costs down to 0.25 RMB/kWh and up to 79% savings during peak demand.
Desay Battery continues to demonstrate its capability to deliver tailored energy storage solutions, consistently earning recognition on Bloomberg's level 1 energy storage supplier list and strong support from industry partners. The newly announced collaboration with Shenzhen Hello Tech Energy, a leader in portable energy storage solutions, exemplifies this joint approach. Both companies plan to leverage their complementary strengths in technology, supply chain management, and market channels to unlock new growth opportunities and provide competitive solutions in global markets.
This innovative portfolio, ranging from groundbreaking cell solutions to fully integrated systems, positions Desay Battery on a trajectory towards safer, smarter, and more sustainable energy solutions. As the energy storage sector evolves, Desay Battery stands ready to lead with their commitment to safety and innovation, continuing to set benchmarks in the industry.
