Digital Innovation Talent Development Program in Shizuoka, Phase 4



The renowned digital innovation initiative organized by LTS (based in Minato-ku, Tokyo) in Shizuoka Prefecture is back for its fourth edition! With partners in academia and industry, the program focuses on nurturing top-tier talent capable of leveraging digital technologies for business creation and transformation. Participants, whether professionals or students, gain essential skills through hands-on workshops and expert-led lectures.

Program Overview



In an era marked by rapid digitalization and the fourth industrial revolution, Shizuoka Prefecture has embraced the mission to nurture digital talent. This year’s program offers a comprehensive curriculum spread over seven months, designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed for effective digital innovation. The program is divided into three phases:

1. First Phase: Engaging lectures by leading scholars and professionals in digital business, aimed at introducing participants to the landscape of digital innovation.
2. Second Phase: Practical workshops crucial for combining different fields of knowledge to create new value.
3. Third Phase: Training sessions aimed at enhancing participants' ability to address and solve societal challenges through applied knowledge.

This structured approach ensures a well-rounded educational experience, preparing attendees to thrive in dynamic business environments where digital skills are increasingly sought after.

Target Audience



This program is tailored for:
  • - Working professionals or students interested in driving digital innovation in their fields.
  • - Individuals residing, working, or studying within Shizuoka Prefecture, or those who aspire to relocate to the region in the future (U, I, or J-turners).
  • - Applicants should possess basic ICT skills and be eager to learn and enhance their capabilities.

Application Eligibility


To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • - A strong willingness to learn and preferably a basic understanding of ICT, at least at the IPA Skill Standard level 2 or 3.
  • - Be based in Shizuoka or demonstrate intent to move to the area.
  • - Be capable of setting up Google Drive and Slack for course materials and communication purposes.

Not Eligible If:


  • - Engaged in any illegal or immoral activities.
  • - Providing incomplete or false information during the application process.

Capacity


  • - The program has an expected enrollment of 20 participants. Selection will be based on motivation and enthusiasm in the application.

Results Notification


  • - Successful candidates will be notified by July 18 via email.
