Event Overview
The SAKE Meets! Week will be held from August 1 to August 17, 2025, at the iconic Loht Heart Square Umekita in Osaka as a part of the OSAKA Satellite EXPO 2025. Presented by OUGI Co., Ltd., this festival aims to celebrate Japanese sake by bringing together eight renowned sake breweries, featuring a total of 37 distinct types of sake from regions such as Iwate and Hiroshima.

A Celebration of Sake

Visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore a variety of sake offerings from breweries recognized for their excellence. Among the participating breweries are:

• - Nanbu Bijin from Iwate Prefecture
• - Dewazakura from Yamagata Prefecture
• - Mizubasho from Gunma Prefecture
• - Sawanoo from Tokyo Prefecture
• - Masumi from Nagano Prefecture
• - Shichiken from Yamanashi Prefecture
• - Bon from Fukui Prefecture
• - Kamoizumi from Hiroshima Prefecture

With ticket options available for 3,000 yen for ten tasting tickets and 1,700 yen for five, attendees can indulge in a bespoke tasting experience that offers a taste of Japan's finest sake.

Special Activities and Experiences

In addition to tasting some of the best sake available, SAKE Meets! Week includes engaging activities:
1. 8 Brewery Stamping Rally
Collect stamps while tasting different sake varieties from each of the participating breweries. Complete the rally to become a “Brew Master” and receive a special ticket redeemable for a free drink!
2. Sake Pairings with Snacks
Sample a wide array of snacks that are perfect complements to the sake, including favorites like peanuts and beef jerky, priced between one and two tickets.
3. Build Your Own Shaved Ice
Create your own unique shaved ice treat by choosing from 25 different syrups, including traditional flavors like strawberry and melon, as well as exciting options like espresso.
4. SAKE Meets! BAR powered by Chu-lip
Work with knowledgeable staff to find the sake that suits your taste and mood at our exclusive sake bar, where delightful recommendations await every visitor.
