Dive Deep into VIVANT at the ‘VIVANT IMMERSIVE MISSION’ Event

TBS Television has kicked off a new entertainment experience like no other with the launch of the ‘VIVANT IMMERSIVE MISSION’, a special event designed to immerse fans in the world of Sunday Drama ‘VIVANT’. On September 15, 2026, a media preview was held at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO, ahead of the grand opening on September 16, 2026.

The event began with exciting appearances by Yuka Kimura, committee member of the event, alongside Yohei Miyazaki, the director of Sunday Drama ‘VIVANT’ and the event's supervisor. They shared insights into the event's conception and the process of transforming the show’s captivating world into a tangible experience.

As a delightful surprise, Drum, a beloved character from the drama, made a memorable entrance, expressing his joy with an enthusiastic, “I am so excited! This day has finally arrived!” Fans experienced an electrifying atmosphere as he utilized a familiar voice through his smartphone, rallying excitement for the opening day.

An Engaging Experience Awaits

‘VIVANT IMMERSIVE MISSION’ will take place from September 16 to November 27, becoming a must-see for fans of the show. During this interactive event, participants can engage via a smartphone app named Auris, enabling them to take on missions spread across four courses: ‘Betsuban’, ‘Kouan’, ‘Tent’, and ‘Drum’s Partner Search’. Drum encouraged attendees, “Don’t just watch! You get to step into the world of VIVANT and actively engage with the adventures in this participatory attraction!”

When asked for his favorite mission, Drum enthusiastically suggested ‘Drum’s Partner Search’, emphasizing how much he welcomes all of his friends and allies. He concluded on a positive note, urging the media, “Don't just report, come and be a part of VIVANT! Dive in and enjoy the mission as if you are one of the characters!”

Behind the Scenes Insight: A Unique Narrative Perspective

During a talk session, Kimura and Miyazaki shed light on the event's genesis. Kimura explained that the idea was to create an experience where the different factions could tell their unique stories within the same setting, revealing how dialogue could guide guests while they navigate through the missions. Miyazaki noted the audience’s desire to explore the world of VIVANT through various landscapes that represent Mongolia and Japan, enhancing the sense of adventure.

Kimura emphasized, “It’s not just showcasing the sets; it’s a space where characters like Yusuke Nogi and Mamoru Nozaki will guide attendees through their narratives, helping guests feel like they are part of the storyline.” Additionally, 12 characters will provide audio instructions throughout the venue, deepening the immersive experience.

Engage with Dynamic Missions

The event features multiple zones showcasing actual sets used in VIVANT, including the infamous ‘Tent’s Under Prison’ where Nogi and Kurosu were held captive and settings geared towards various missions themed after the show. Visitors can choose from activities related to each faction, ranging from measuring quantities reminiscent of Nogi's skills in ‘Betsuban’ to bomb disposal challenges in ‘Tent’. Every action taken could influence character reactions, making each visit unique.

Participants are promised myriad interactions as they undertake these missions, with varied outcomes depending on their choices, offering something fresh with each encounter. Miyazaki stated, “There are numerous voice recordings created for different paths, ensuring that every participant can enjoy a unique narrative.”

Sip and Savor at the EXTRA MISSION CAFE

Adjacent to the event, the ‘EXTRA MISSION CAFE’ features themed menus inspired by the three factions and offers exclusive items like a secret menu for those who can present their suitability scores. The games are all designed to evoke memories of significant moments from the drama, ensuring a nostalgic connection to the beloved series.

Kimura mentioned that the event also includes unique merchandise such as original plush toys, AI merchandise, and exclusive apparel that can only be purchased on-site. Prospective attendees are urged not to miss this opportunity, as Kimura mentioned,
