You in the Art: A Unique Exhibition by Hanako Yoshida

On April 18, 2026, ACTUS Aoyama will host a one-of-a-kind art exhibition featuring the abstract artist Hanako Yoshida, running until May 17, 2026. This exclusive event, titled 'YOU in the ART,' invites visitors to explore the theme of ‘Living with Art,’ showcasing original paintings and a range of new art pieces created from the intricate details of Yoshida's works.

Hanako Yoshida, an artist dedicated to enriching daily life through her art, will present two original paintings in size F20 (606×727 mm) specially created for this exhibit. Additionally, she has selected beautiful details from these pieces to reproduce as limited-edition museum prints, expanding upon the primary artworks. Among these exclusive offerings will be a special series where art merges with a reflective surface, allowing viewers to see themselves as part of the artwork.

The exhibition will include 20 original paintings in the samuholl size (158×227 mm), available for viewing and purchase. This allows visitors the opportunity to acquire truly unique pieces from a rapidly ascending artist in the art world.

Special Limited Edition Works

The limited edition pieces, developed in collaboration with the high-end scanning and printing professionals at FLAT LABO, promise to vividly replicate the subtle colors and textures of Yoshida’s original works. These pieces will be sold with unique serial numbers, available exclusively during the exhibition.

Starting April 10, ahead of the official opening, art enthusiasts can pre-order these exclusive editions through the ACTUS online shop.

The 'Living with Art' Initiative

In Japan, there is a historical reluctance to incorporate original artwork into home decor compared to Western cultures. ACTUS aims to change this perspective with its 'Living with Art' project, launched in 2022.
