Exciting News: PokéPark Kanto Opening Soon!

The Pokémon Company has officially announced the grand opening of PokéPark Kanto, the first outdoor permanent facility dedicated to the Pokémon universe, scheduled for February 5, 2026. Located within Yomiuri Land in the scenic Tama Hills in the Kanto region, this new area spans approximately 2.6 hectares and includes extensive renovations of existing facilities along with new developments.

Official Trailer Launched Today

To kick off the excitement, a trailer showcasing the PokéPark Kanto experience was released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel today at 2 PM. The 90-second video encapsulates the fun awaiting guests, highlighting activities such as playing with various Pokémon in Pokémon Forest, selecting exclusive merchandise at the Pokémon Trainers Market, participating in shows at the gym, and enjoying thrilling battles at the battle court. This teaser serves as a vibrant invitation to fans and newcomers alike, promising an engaging experience in the magical world of Pokémon.

Ticket Sales Information

Tickets for the highly-anticipated PokéPark Kanto will go on sale starting at 6 PM on November 21, 2025. There are two types of tickets available: the Elite Trainer Pass and the Trainer Pass. Importantly, these tickets also grant admission to Yomiuri Land itself, allowing for an expanded adventure. For detailed ticket pricing and schedules, fans are encouraged to visit the official website’s ticket information section. Please note that schedules and methods for ticket sales are subject to change without notice.

Important Visitor Guidelines

Given the natural landscape of Pokémon Forest, which includes steep stairs and hills, there will be capacity limits to ensure visitor safety. Children under five years old and their guardians, as well as guests who cannot ascend the 110 steps, will not be permitted entry even if accompanied by a caregiver. Additionally, for those unable to access Pokémon Forest or those wishing to exclusively explore Kayatsuri Town, a Town Pass will be available for sale starting in the summer of 2026.

For further information, including all other visitor regulations, please check the official site.
