Front Row Expands to Seoul, Enabling Korean Brands for U.S. Market Success

Front Row's Expansion in Seoul: A New Era for Korean Brands

In a significant move to bolster its global footprint, Front Row has officially launched operations in Seoul, South Korea, aimed at providing robust support to Korean brands in their quest to penetrate the American market. As a global growth partner specializing in platforms like Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Shopify, Front Row's new Seoul office will cater specifically to the burgeoning sectors of beauty, health, wellness, and pharmaceuticals in South Korea.

This marks Front Row's sixth global office, adding to existing locations in New York, San Diego, Hamburg, Bratislava, and Amsterdam. The rapid rise of Korean brands in the U.S. market necessitated this strategic expansion. Notably, Korean skincare sales on Amazon have skyrocketed, reaching $818 million in the first half of 2026—an astounding 80% increase compared to the same period in 2025, contrasting sharply with the more modest 27% growth rate of the overall skincare category on the platform.

Leadership and Expertise in Place

Leading the new Seoul office is Jinny Kim, Senior Vice President for Korea. With over 25 years of experience across various roles at Coupang, Dentsu, Ogilvy, Mintel, and GroupM, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge in accelerating brand growth, particularly for Korean companies seeking international exposure. Kim stated, “Korean brands evolve with a speed and cultural instinct that is hard to replicate elsewhere. Founders expect their partners to understand this rhythm.” Her long career at esteemed agencies has equipped her with insights into both domestic and international markets, which she aims to leverage for the benefit of Front Row's clients.

Addressing Key Challenges for Korean Brands

From its base in Seoul, Front Row is poised to tackle the common hurdles that impede Korean brands in the U.S. These include:

1. Accelerating Profitable Growth: Facilitating the transition from initial launch to category leadership by enhancing brand visibility on platforms like Amazon and TikTok.
2. Reclaiming Control from Resellers: Helping brands manage their narrative and pricing strategies, ensuring that consumers engage with official brand representations rather than unauthorized sellers.
3. Localization of Content: Creating tailored narratives and visuals that resonate with American consumers, thereby enhancing the brand's relatability and attractiveness.
4. Boosting Brand Discovery: Utilizing innovative digital strategies, including SEO optimization and retail network engagement, to drive organic demand for brands.
5. Real-Time Data-Driven Actions: Leveraging Catapult, Front Row's proprietary business intelligence platform, to provide real-time dashboards and AI-driven analytics that enable brands to monitor their performance and respond proactively to market dynamics.

The Global Impact of Korean Brands

Christopher Skinner, co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Front Row, emphasizes, “Korea is influencing the global beauty industry's approach to innovation, product development, content, and commerce. Our expansion allows us to connect this vibrant ecosystem directly with our expertise in accelerating beauty, health, and wellness brands in the U.S. and Europe.”

At the outset, this initiative serves to assist Korean brands in transforming their local strengths into sustainable global growth, while simultaneously enriching the perspectives of international partners with innovative Korean concepts.

Upcoming Celebrations and Future Plans

As part of its launch, Front Row plans to commemorate the opening of its Seoul office with a special event in early 2027. Additional details are forthcoming.
