Front Row's Strategic Move to Seoul to Boost U.S. Market Growth for Korean Brands

Front Row Expands its Operations to Seoul

In an exciting development for the global market, Front Row, a leading growth partner for brands, has officially announced the opening of a new office in Seoul. This strategic expansion aims to assist Korean brands in the Beauty, Health, and Wellness sectors as they tap into opportunities for growth and visibility in the U.S. market, particularly through platforms like Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Shopify.

As it stands, Seoul marks Front Row's sixth global location, joining other key cities like New York, San Diego, Hamburg, Bratislava, and Amsterdam. This move aligns with the growing trend of Korean brands making a significant impact on the U.S. marketplace, especially as consumer interest in K-Beauty continues to soar. Data shows that sales of Korean facial skincare products on Amazon alone reached a staggering $818 million in the first half of 2026, representing an 80% increase from the same period the previous year. This growth vastly surpasses the overall skincare category growth of 27% on Amazon, highlighting the rising prominence of these brands.

To spearhead this new office, Front Row has appointed Jinny Kim as the Senior Vice President for Korea. Jinny brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at notable companies such as Coupang, Dentsu, and Ogilvy. Her deep understanding of the Korean market dynamics and global commercial strategies will be pivotal in guiding local brands as they navigate their expansion into the United States. According to Jinny, "Korean brands operate with an unmatched speed and instinct for trends that can be challenging to replicate. My experience positions me uniquely to bridge this cultural rhythm with the global infrastructure that Front Row has established."

Front Row's Seoul office will tackle several hurdles commonly faced by Korean brands looking to grow in the U.S. market, including:

1. Accelerating Marketplace Growth: By utilizing their expertise on platforms such as Amazon and TikTokshop, Front Row will assist brands in transitioning from initial launches to achieving category leadership.
2. Regaining Control from Resellers: The organization will help brands reclaim ownership of their product listings, pricing, and storefronts, ensuring that their presence is authentic and not diluted by unauthorized resellers.
3. Customized Content Creation: Adaptation of branding and marketing content specifically for U.S. consumers will be a key focus. This includes modifying product stories, visuals, and claims to meet local expectations and preferences.
4. Enhancing Brand Discovery: Effective demand generation strategies will be implemented through retail media, search engine optimization, and innovative digital flagship solutions tailored for brand-owned Shopify stores.
5. Leveraging Real-time Data: Utilizing Catapult, Front Row's proprietary business intelligence platform, brands will gain access to real-time performance metrics, enabling them to swiftly adapt strategies based on actionable insights.

Christopher Skinner, Front Row's Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating, "Korea is at the forefront of redefining innovation in the global beauty landscape. Our Seoul office will create a direct link between the remarkable innovations stemming from Korea and our established expertise in enhancing brand growth across the U.S. and Europe."

Looking forward, Front Row plans to host a celebratory event in Seoul to mark the official opening of this new office in early 2027, where more details regarding their initiatives will be shared with industry stakeholders.

As it continues to expand its global footprint, Front Row strengthens its commitment to empowering brands and propelling them to success in dynamic international markets. Through this strategic initiative in Korea, Front Row demonstrates its mission of bridging local brand innovations with extensive global reach and expertise, ensuring Korean brands achieve durable growth on the world stage.
