Fist of the North Star Original Artwork Exhibition RETURNS+

The iconic manga series, Fist of the North Star, is marking its 40th anniversary with a grand original artwork exhibition, taking place at Gallery Zenon in Kichijoji, Tokyo. From September 12 to October 25, 2026, fans will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the detailed and powerful artistry of Tetsuo Hara, the original illustrator behind the series, as his rare works return to Tokyo.

Exhibition Highlights

This exhibition is a sequel to the Fist of the North Star 40th Anniversary Large-Scale Art Exhibition held nationwide from October 2023 to April 2025, featuring over 150 original pieces. Divided into two parts, this exhibition will showcase Hara's exquisite drawings that exhibit intricate details and a robust penmanship, allowing viewers to appreciate the raw energy and intensity that can’t be felt through printed formats.

• - Part 1: Southern Cross Six Holy Fists Arc + Celestial Emperor Arc (September 12 – October 5)
• - Part 2: The Four Brothers of Hokuto and Southern Five Stars Arc + Celestial Emperor Arc (October 7 – October 25)

The exhibition not only studies the beloved classical scenes but also explores them from unique perspectives across time.

A special addition for this exhibition is the Celestial Emperor Arc, which continues the story from the previous exhibitions and includes many never-before-seen original sketches, promising a captivating narrative for the fans.

Engaging Displays

Alongside original artworks, part of the thrilling three-dimensional displays praised at prior exhibitions will also make an appearance, giving visitors an opportunity to delve deeper into the world of Fist of the North Star.

Exclusive Merchandise and Café

Merchandise stalls at the venue will feature original goods, including new products that debut exclusively at this exhibition for fans wishing to take home a piece of their cherished series. In addition, an adjoining café will serve special collaboration-themed menu items, allowing attendees to relish the worlds of their beloved characters while enjoying the artworks.

Tickets will be available starting August 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

Note: Time-specific tickets will be available only on September 12 and 13. Admission is free for elementary school children, but they must be accompanied by a guardian.
