2025 Christmas Charity Ornament Initiative at Tokyo Station Hotel
Since its inception in 2015, the Tokyo Station Hotel's "Christmas Charity Ornament" program has encouraged individuals to participate in social contribution activities aimed at supporting forest preservation and revitalization. The program sets a goal to raise enough donations for planting 335 saplings, which symbolizes the hotel's 335-meter long Marunouchi station building. For this year, the initiative has successfully raised a remarkable total of 601,079 yen, enough to plant around 430 saplings, surpassing the original target significantly. This achievement marks one of the most successful years in the program's history, and heartfelt thanks go out to all participants and supporters.
A Step towards Environmental Protection
Every individual contribution is a crucial step towards protecting our planet. By supporting the organization "more trees," the initiative aids in preserving biodiversity while connecting diverse natural environments for future generations. Donations are accepted freely, starting from 1,000 yen, which resonates with many supporters. This year, contributions exceeded the previous year's amount, showcasing the generosity and compassion of the community. Over the past 11 years, a staggering total exceeding 2.3 million yen has been raised, all of which will be donated to the general incorporated association "more trees" to aid in forest conservation efforts.
Continuing the Commitment to Nature
The creation of these charity ornaments allows participants to joyfully engage in forest-building activities. The project will continue as a bridge between society and nature. The Tokyo Station Hotel deeply appreciates the unwavering support it has received from everyone involved.
