Wakaruku Partners with Gunma for Women's IT Skill Development

Wakaruku, a Tokyo-based company, has been officially selected as the contractor for the "IT Skill Development x Women's Employment Support MAITSURU Project 2025" by the Gunma Prefectural Government. This significant initiative aims to empower women in the region by enhancing their IT skills and supporting their career advancements. With the program set to launch in July 2025, Wakaruku will conduct digital skill development courses specifically tailored for women living or working in Gunma Prefecture.

Objective of the MAITSURU Project

The MAITSURU Project, spearheaded by the Industrial Economic Division of Gunma’s Labor Policy Department, is focused on providing comprehensive support for women who have left the workforce due to childbirth, childcare, or those seeking to shift from non-regular employment to stable positions. This program is dedicated to fostering a skilled workforce of women proficient in digital technologies.

Continuing on from the previous year’s efforts, Wakaruku will lead the "Skill-Up Course," which consists of various digital skills training and career advancement support tailored specifically for currently employed women.
