The Asakawa Clear Stream Environmental Association is once again hosting an engaging and informative environmental event titled
'Chimney Exploration'. This annual event focuses on educating the local community about waste management practices in Hino City, Kokubunji City, and Koganei City, where our facility manages combustible waste.

- - Location: Asakawa Clear Stream Environmental Association Combustible Waste Processing Facility, 1-210-2 Ishida, Hino City
What to Expect
Participants can look forward to:
1. An informative presentation about the facility.
2. A guided tour of the processing plant along with opportunities for photography.
3. A unique experience to explore the chimney and take photos.
This safe and educational event is designed for residents aged 9 and up from the cities of Hino, Kokubunji, and Koganei. Children in elementary school must be accompanied by an adult.
How to Participate
Participation is free of charge, but spots are limited to the first
20 participants, including accompanying adults. To secure your place, pre-registration is essential from March 10 (Tuesday) at 9 AM until March 17 (Tuesday) at 4 PM. You can register by calling

042-514-8930 during business hours (weekdays from 9 AM to 4 PM).
When you call, ensure you provide the number of participants and your arrival method. For those who prefer to drive, please indicate this when registering, as parking is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Getting There
The facility is accessible via the Tama Monorail. From
Manganji Station, you can walk downstream along the Tama River's side road for approximately
15 minutes. If you choose to drive, you have two options for access:
1. Drive down from the south end of
Hino Bridge toward Tama River until you reach the turnabout.
2. Use the
Route 20 Bypass toward Kokutai, and make a left shortly before the
Ishida Bridge at the
Hino Manganji Station Front intersection.
For your arrival, note that access to the venue is only possible from the Tama River side; do not attempt entry from the Asakawa side or the Clean Center side.
