Scheduled to take place over two days, on May 16th and 17th, 2026, at the Yoyogi Park Event Square in Tokyo, this year’s festival promises to be a grand spectacle of sound and culture.

The essence of OKINAWA FES Milafete resonates with its theme, “REAL OKINAWA,” serving as a profound platform to showcase the music, culture, and heartfelt desires of the Okinawan people to a national audience. This celebration not only marks a decade of festivities but also aims to deepen the festival experience by broadening its artistic scope.

This year's lineup features beloved local artists and groups who have resonated deeply within the community. Among the confirmed performers, you can find the acclaimed Karuyushi58, which celebrates two decades of their musical journey, alongside the legendary BEGIN’s Inti Uechi (Pf & Vo) and Yu Shimabukuro (Gt & Vo). Additional notable acts include D-51, Kiiyama Shoten, and a host of other celebrated Okinawan artists who bring their unique sounds and styles to the stage.
