Edamame Eating Championship.

World Edamame Eating Championship
This international event is a fun competition centered around quickly consuming edamame. With its roots in Nagaoka City, the competition emphasizes both speed and presentation, offering participants a visually appealing mound of Niigata edamame. This year, participants will compete to see how many grams they can consume in
one minute, with significant prizes awaiting the victor. Additionally, rising star
Rio Nanami, a current university student and idol from Niigata, will be a special guest at the event, adding to the excitement!
