On March 19, Smilegate Megaport officially launched 'Nothus', a new Moonlit hero in the popular mobile RPG 'Epic Seven'. Who is Nothus?

Nothus is depicted as a mechanical god and serves as the host of a martial arts tournament held within a pyramid. For a long time, he followed the will of the god who created him, known as the Star-Eater Pames. However, after observing the noble battles of heroes during the tournament, Nothus began to develop his own consciousness. Eventually, he made the pivotal decision to reject his fate as a puppet, adding depth to his character and storyline.

Special Features and Mechanics

Nothus is a ★5 knight hero with impressive vitality and defense. He is unique in that he can switch between two distinct states: normal and 'Berserker' mode.

Normal State:

In normal mode, Nothus is unaffected by action gauge increases or decreases, allowing him to strategically lower enemy defense with high accuracy during basic attacks. Using his Skill 3, 'Divine Achievement', in this state grants him the unique effect of 'Berserker', setting the stage for his transformation.

Berserker State:

Once in 'Berserker' mode, all of Nothus’s stats double, and his Skills 1 and 2 evolve into much stronger attacks. Additionally, during this state, a special effect known as 'Sanctuary of Struggle' activates, which prevents all heroes from receiving enhancement or debilitation effects. This transformation enhances Nothus’s role in both PVE and PVP contexts, especially in competitions like the World Arena, where strategy is paramount.
